The working principle of a BLDC motor mainly relies on an electronic commutator to control the current, rather than traditional brushes. The working process is as follows:
1、Electronic commutation: The BLDC motor uses Hall sensors or back electromotive force to detect the current position of the rotor, and controls the on-off of the current according to the preset commutation table, thereby achieving the rotation of the rotor.
2、Magnetic field effect: The rotor of the motor is usually composed of permanent magnets, while the stator is a set of coils through which current flows. By controlling the current in the stator coils, the generated magnetic field interacts with the rotor's magnetic field, resulting in torque.
3、High efficiency: Due to the absence of brush friction losses, brushless DC motors typically have higher efficiency and a longer service life.
